Head of Goddess Mehet-Weret
The head of Goddess Mehet-Weret or celestial cow, wooden, copper, lapis lazuli and gold sculpture, found in the Tomb of Tutankhamun (KV62), Valley of the Kings, West Thebes.
The black color used on the horns and neck of the animal is a reference to the color of the Egyptian soil following the annual innudations by the Nile.
